To had created this pattern I used red and blue counters.  For my first figure I used 1.  For my second one is that I had added 3 and then it became 4.  For my third, I placed 3 more counters and then it became 7.   For my forth one, I placed 3 more counters and I notice the pattern and went the same way as the rest.

The pattern rule going down is +3.

The pattern rule going across is x3-2.

I think it is better to know is going across than going down because you would figure out the across pattern instead of going down for the pattern.

I had created this scatter plot because to gather all my my data and put it to a plot so it is neater.  I went on this site to help me make this amazing scatter plot and the site was called math cracker.  For my scatter plot I had gave it a title and it was called “My Growing Pattern.”  For the x-axis I had put a title, the title is “Figure Number” and for the x-axis I put it 1 throw 5 on the bottom line.  For the y-axis I put a title as well, the title was “Number of Counters” and I made it for the figure number.  I can tell I had made this plot because it looks like it keeps growing and growing and growing.  If I had made any mistakes I would had notice.
